Show The Annual Concert. Great preparationsa are being taken to make the annual March concert for St. Ann's orphanage a success. The Orpheus club, under A. H. Peabody, will appear, singing the Rhys Herbert ! arrangements of "Killarney" and "The Minstrel Boy." Edward Fitzpatrick. the violinist, will be heard also, and the Salt Lake theatre orchestra, under Arthur Sheperd. Other artists will be engaged next week. The principal attraction will be the children, 250 in all. Such talented little lit-tle people are seldom seen. Miss Glea-son Glea-son has been obliged to limit the number num-ber to 230 on account of so many little ones wishing to take part, but there is a limit to the size of the stage, even in the fine old Salt Lake theatre. The concert will be filled with attractive features, as usual. The rehearsals are on Saturday in the choir hall at 3 for the little ones; 4 o'clock for the large girls, 4:30 for the boys. |
