Show SERVICES M. OUT 0FJPAI1Y Feature Is Singing by Junior Choir Composed of Little Children. Services at St. Mary's Catholic cathedral cathe-dral Sunday were more than ordinarily impressive. The mass at 8 o'clock was said by the Rev.' Father D. Kiely. At 9 o'clock mass the Rignt Rev. Bishop Laurence Scanlan was tne celebrant. He also preached the sermon. At thk mass the music Avas by the junior choir, which is composed of children of tender years. These little singers are under the especial es-pecial patronage of Bishop Scanlan, who take a deep interest in their progress. pro-gress. They have been at practice only six weeks, under the direction of Miss Nora Gleason, but even in that brief space of time they have become really a remarkable company of youthful singers. The 11 o'clock high mass was celebrated cele-brated by the Rev. Father Timothy Brennan. The Rev. Father W. K. Ryan delivered a masterful sermon. At vespers ves-pers in the evening Father Brennan again officiated and preached the u?r-mon. u?r-mon. The high mass was Louis Dauch-auer's Dauch-auer's cardinal mass, dedicated by the composer to Archbishop Hughes, the first archbishop of New York. It is a remarkably brilliant mass, and the Credo is pronounced by musicians to be extraordinarily beautiful. The soloists were Mrs. Corinne Harris Hammer, Miss Mae O'Neill.
