Show THE IRISH MARTYRS. Pope Pius Shows a Special Interest in the Proceedings Taken on Behalf Be-half of Those Who Died for the Faith in Ireland. J.) in the cause of the Irish martyrs. Since the pope come to know of the judicial proceedings taken 011 behalf of even a group of the men and women who gave their lives for the faith in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries centu-ries in Ireland, his holiness has shown n special interest in the case, and be-:'ng be-:'ng informed that Father Conmee had just brought to Rome the Acta of the Inquiry h-;ld in the Dublin diacesan court, he very willingly granted an audience au-dience to him an 1 the postulator. One Hundred and Sixty-five Martyrs.
