Show CATHEDRAL NOTES. The members of the Altar society will moot next Monday. The promoters of the League of the Sacred Heart will meet Sunday afternoon after-noon at 3:30. 4 There will be May devotions every ninht during next month at 7:30. Rev. Father Kiely was at Eureka last Sunday, Rev. Father Donohue, the pastor, being ill at the Holy Cross hospital hos-pital in this city. The week day Mass is celebrated at 7:30 instead of 8 o'clock. f The annual coronation ceremony 1 ikes place at St. Mary's cathedral on Sunday. May 2!. All the children of the paiish, both boys and girls, arc expected to take part in the ceremony. f The children of St. Mary's and St. Patriek's are preparing for First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Instructions Instruc-tions are given on Monday; "Wednesday and Friday afternoons at St. Mary's. Hie parents are reminded of their duty in sending their children who are procuring for Holy Communion and Confirmation to the instructions regularly regu-larly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Fri-day afternoons at 4 o'clock. Only two weeks remain, and yet the attendance is poor. Parents must se the necessity neces-sity for sending their children regularly. |
