Show Wedding Bells. f A number of brilliant weddings have ; signalized the close of the Lenten sea son In Catholic society. The Dry spring bride was Miss Wilhelmina tm, whose marriage to John Lawrence i Green took place Monday evening at ; the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Ott, 2426 Stout street. Rev. Leo Krenz, S. J., of Sacred Heart church performed the ceremony before an im- ' provised altar banked with Easter lilies, palms and ferns. The bride was gowned In ivory satin, elaborately ' ' " trimmed in lace and pearls, her long ; tulle veil was held in place by a wreath of valley lilies, and she rarried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and vallev lilies. Miss Matilda Zick was maid of honor, and the brldeswaids were Miss Florence Fisehback and Miss Matilda ' ' . Hauck. The groom was attended by his brother, Matthew Green. Several I hundred friends atended the reception which followed the marriage ceremony. The marriage of Miss Lydla I. Croft of St. Louis and Charles B. Allen, Jr., of Denver, which took place at Cheyenne Chey-enne last Saturday, was a great surprise sur-prise to all but the immediate families of the contracting parties. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Allen of 2923g West Eighteenth avenue, and is at present in charge of the construction construc-tion of an irrigation dam in Wyoming. Miss Ana Caroline Egerer and Joseph M. Ross were quietly married on Monday Mon-day at the church of St. Mary Magdalene Magda-lene by Rev. Father Desautiriers. Mrs. Ross is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Egerer .pioneer residents of Denver. After a short wedding trip through the state Mr. and Mrs. Ross will go to housekeeping at 1016 Twenty-eighth Twenty-eighth street. St. Leo's church was the scene of a quiet wedding Tuesday afternoon, March 29, when Mrs. Elizabeth Mc-Donough Mc-Donough and John T. Kelly were united unit-ed in marriage by Rev. William O'Ryan. Supper at the Auditorium hotel ho-tel followed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly will remain in Denver for the present, but expect to sail in May for an extended European tour. Mr. Kelly is conected with Leerie Brothers Contracting company. The wedding of Miss Gizella Pick and Max Weisenberger occurred Monday morning in Logan avenue chapel with nuptial mass, Father H. L. McMenamin McMena-min officiating. The wedding bf Miss Nellie Montgomery Montgome-ry and Charles McLeran is announced for the near future. |
