Bishop Glorieux re- ' turned to Boise, Ida., the same night. The Catholics of Salt Lake have not had the honor of entertaining so many distinguished visitors for some time Five years ago the late Archbishop Grow visited here. He was accompanied accom-panied then by Bishop Blondell of Montana Mon-tana and Bishop Glorieux of Idaho. The Catholic peonle in the intermountain nates should be proud of their bishops and clergy. The children who took part in the procession were very brave during the shower. Even the tiny tots did not mind the slight wetting they got; in fact, they seemed to think that it was lots of fun. It was a pity that the choir children were so separated, as the choruses were not as strong as they should have been; but such things are bound to happen in an immense crowd and it is best to be philosophical over such troubles. Two very small girls were discovered away near the back of the Church singing all by themselves and vainly trying to keep with the restj of the choir, who were quite distant. |
