Father Geymar of Salt Lake, I came here especially to assist in the services. The high mass Monday was sol- j emi-ized with impressive splendor and pomp. Rev. Father. De Siere was the celebrant of the mass. Rev. Father Fol-lett Fol-lett was de-aeon and Rev. Father Geymar. Gey-mar. sub-deacon. ' There was a full attendance of the Altar Boys' guild- arrayed in white cassocks and lace a-vHces to assist at the mass. The sermon at the eleven o'clock mass was preached by Rev. Father Geymar, of Salt Lake, who took for his subject, "The Meaning of the Forty Hours' devotion." At the evening ser-vice: ser-vice: Rev. Father Geymar spoke on the "Blessed Sacrament." There were masses at St. Patrick's during the forty hours' devotion at six morning. Monday and Tuesday at nine o'clock there was a high mass, in which the visiting 'priests and the Altar Al-tar Boy' guild assisted. The evening services began at 7:30 o'clock and consisted of prayers appropriate appro-priate to the forty hours' "devotion, a short sermon aifel bUitk-iion. |
