The first annual ball of the Brotherhood Brother-hood of Railroad Trainmen took place last Tuesday evening in Christensen's hall. It was largely attended and proved a most enjoyable affair. The hall was decorated with red and green fiags, the emblem of the order, and the chandeliers hung with red and green lanterns. An immense headlight occupied occu-pied one corner of the platform. The orchestra was enlarged for the occasion and the dance music was of an unusually unusu-ally fine order. Dr. Ned W. Hewett, past master of the order, led the grand march.
