Show KEMMEBER, 'WTO. The Rev. Father Joseph Dreyer came up from Rock Springs to conduct the "funeral ceremonies over the remains of Lewis Callaghan and left for Rock Springs again Thursday evening. J Lewis Callaghan. aged 15 years, oldest old-est son of John and Kate Callaghan of Fossil, died at Rock Springs, to which place he had been takn for medical -aid for appendicitis, on Tuesday, the 20th inst. The remains wore brought back from Rock Springs, and interred in the Kemmerer cemetery. Quite a number of our townsmen went out to meet the funeral cortege from Fossil, and help to escort the re mains to the grave. Deceased De-ceased was a grandson, of Mr. and Mrss R. H. Lewis of Fossil, and was a very promising youth. Our sympathy goes out to the bereaved parents and friends in this sad hour. We regret. to chronicle the departure of R. A. Keenan and family from our midst. Mr. Keenan nas been with us since the first inception of our town. He ooened the first place of business and was our first mayor after incorporation incorpo-ration took plaeend was later identified identi-fied with the Jvemmerer hotel, as its smiling Boniface.
