A Badger as Senate Bill nUl No 25 5 It Is proposed to correct the lax lox m methods Of the these e agencies In tho the past and to protect tho the laborer who vho seeks employment of those these places It is rather an measure and deals with every overy phase of the agency The bill went to the tho committee on labor Every agency whether incorporated or not will have to take out outa a s. license to do business In Utah and provides that every city town or county must provide by ordinance for the tho issuance ot of such license the amount to be bo determined upon by these corporate bodies but a bond of 1000 with two sureties must be put up by tho the agency to Insure Its good goo l faith A number of the sections in the proposed law aro are most meat stringent Sections Sections Sec Sec- G C and 7 7 provide Any employment agent who shall shoU l knowingly send Rond out any female help to any place of bad repute house of ill III fame tame or r assignation house or to any house hous or 01 place of amusement kept for Immoral purposes shan shall be liable to lo pay a fine of not less than one hundred hundred hun hun- dred dollars and on conviction thereof In any court shall have his license rescinded Any employment empl agent who shall sen send out an any help holp male or female without having ha previously obtained a abona bona bOlla tide ride order ordel shall shaH upon conviction thereof for tor each and every offense be subject to the penalties provided In section fifteen of this act I While the bill is stringent regarding agencies It expressly states that religious or charitable I organizations carrying on this work ire arc not affected It also provides that sections of the law shall be posted conspicuously In the rooms ot oi the u
