Vern Jepsen returned from Firth Idaho last week-end where he has been picking potatoes. NEWS NOTES By Delores Hansen GLENCO Elder Josepn C. Egley left Friday for his mission headquarters at Denver, Colorado. From there he will travel to Albuquerque, Albu-querque, 'New Mexico where he has been transferred to the West New Mexico District of the Western West-ern States Mission. He has been laboring in the East Nebraska dis: trict for the past eight months. A number of the ward parents attended P. T. A. meeting in Mink Creek Wednesday evening. Mr .and Mrs. Marve Packer and son spent Sunday afternoon visiting visit-ing with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen Han-sen and family. A family gathering and social was held last Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Christensen in honor of Elder Joseph Egley and Pvt. F. C. Kenneth Ken-neth Coburn. The evening was spent in playing games and short responses from the honored guests A tasty lunch was served to all.
