Show Farewell Meld For Migh One Glimpse Into The Future Shows A Great Many Things May Happer The Junior high school held it: farewell assembly Tuesday at ! i. m. under the sponsorship of tin .Ninth Grade class and directed b; Eloise Poulter. The program con sisted of the following: "Stout Hearted Men," vocal sole sung by Tliain Carlisle of Junioi high school 'music department; "Somebody Else Is Taking Mj Place," vocal solo sung by Hownrc Hollingsworth, ninth grader; a mod ley of well known musical favor ites, string ensemble consisting ol Marion Bowden, C'lixie McAUislei and Beth Smith; accordian solo, Leona Britenbeker; two humorous skits: "The Fatal Necklace" and "The Moon Family"; "White Cliffs of Dover", vocal duet sung by Muri-lou Muri-lou Hawkes and Paul Wilcox. A special feature of the assent-'bly assent-'bly was the presentation of a gift to E. It. Spilsbury in consideration for his fine leadership of the Junior Jun-ior High School and Jefferson School, Mr Spilsbury is leaving the Junior High to take the office of principal of the senior high school. Because the time was cut short, the following prognostication by Bryant Nash was not presented to the assembly. We hope that its publication will reach and be read by all Junior High students.
