Show WINDER NEWS NOTES By Gretta Winger mmwmmmmmmmmmmm Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Carter spent a day recently with Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Taylor of Cleveland. A large crowd of people from here attended the Seminary graduation gradu-ation of the Franklin County Seminary Semi-nary Sunday evening. Graduates from our ward were Imogene Bright, Shirley Stocks, and Lorine Swainston. Joint Stake conference was enjoyed en-joyed . hy many people from, here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. DeVon Warrick and family moved back Into our ward recently where Mr. Warrick will he employed on his father's farm. Miss Dorothy Rigby, daughter of Mrs. May Rigby was operated on for appendicitis recently. A, lovely Mothers' Day program was presented here Sunday. Defense De-fense stamps were given as gifts by the Sunday School. Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon aft-ernoon was under the direction of the Priesthood supervision, Floyd Bennett, conducted. A splendid program pro-gram was given. Mr. Archibald entertained the eighth grade graduates at the picture pic-ture show Friday evening. This year's graduates are Mar Jean Carter, Car-ter, Goldie Talbot, Norma Sullivan, Kenneth HoJlingswor;tti, Herman Sharp and . Eugene Talbot. Nine friends pleasantly surprised Kenneth Hollingsworth Sunday evening at the home of Lenis Smith. Games were played and refreshments re-freshments served. Bob Talbot, son of Mrs. Rose Talbot is visiting with friends and relatives here. j Mr. and Mrs Clyde Condie enter-: tained several you.ng couples at supper Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weaver left this week with their family for Payette Lakes where Mr. Weaver is connected with the construction work on the military site there. |
