H ;.B,.:i b.i The Mutual Improvement association asso-ciation visited Glencoe ward last Tuesday night. Mink Creek furnished fur-nished the program there. Several tine musical numbers were rendered ren-dered and a one act play was presented. pre-sented. The audience enjoyed the program immensely. Mrs. Aiida Neeley visited Relief Society on Tuesday of last week on business. Baptismal services were held Saturday afternoon in the church house. Little Miss Marie Jensen and Master Vernon Keller were baptized with Nathaniel Keller performing the ceremonies. The Mink Creek high school is presenting their annual three-act play next Friday night in the ward recreation hall. The title of the play this year is 'Where's Grandma." Grand-ma." It promises to be outstanding in entertainment value. School was held in Mink Creek last Saturday. Then the students were dismissed on Monday while the parents visited and discussed the problems related to the students' stu-dents' welfare. Dr. L. V. Merrill attended and instructed the parents par-ents as to the care of the teeth. This is one of the problems which is being takn up by the PTA. There were three babies blessed in sacrament meeting last Sunday, The parents are: Mr. and Mrs. DeVerle Hurst who named their baby Karen, Mr. and Mrs. Basil Crane who named their baby Morris Mor-ris Hansen, and Mr. and Mrs. Swen Anderson who named their baby daughter Paulene. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jepsen are planning to move from their home by the river to the house in which Oscar Nelson used , to live. This is only a temporary arrangement for the winter months. |
