Show Post Calls Legionnaires Dear Comardes; Your country again faces a great crisis. We are in an all out war, with war-mongers of the worst type. American blood has been spilled without warning. Democracy Democra-cy is at stake. Real Americanism work means ACTION and not mere words. On every hand there lies before our communities, states and nation, gigantic problems of gravity demanding de-manding the most careful attention of every loyal American Citizen. We are confronted with a great struggle a most serious encounter which will require the exertion of much energy by true Americans. You have been through tue mill and were not found wanting. 23 years ago you deemed it your duty to defend American ideals. Today, the American Legion, composed of Veterans of World war No. 1, who have done their fighting "bit" and are many or them) now too old to give the most efficient service as soldiers, can play an impbrtant part as civilian soldiers. In the American Legion, as in every other organization membership member-ship is .a, vital factor. Membership problems have to be solved before we can hope to attain efficiency in our post programs. Join your post immediately. We can reach our goal if every man does his share uf work and full duty.
