Show BAHN-REESE WEDDING OCCURS IN MISSOURI Of interest to many friends was t tie recent marriage of Miss Elizabeth Eliza-beth Bali n of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Di William G. Reese of Whitney, Whit-ney, Idaho, at the Balm home. Mary Ellen Allen was bridesmaid and Mrs. K. R. White, matron of honor. The groom was attended by Lawrence Balm, brother of the bride with Kent McQueen of Pies-ton, Pies-ton, as best man. The wedding party stood before a bank of palms, ferns, and magnolia mag-nolia blossoms. A reception followed follow-ed the ceremony. In the receiving Jine were the wedding party and the parents of the bride and groom. Mrs. Reese is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil L. Balm of Cape Girardeau, Mo. She is a graduate of the Northwestern university at Evans-ton, 111. She played in t he orchestra or-chestra and string ensemble at Northwestern university. Delta Omicron was her professional music mu-sic sorority at Northwestern. In the summer of 1939, Mrs. Reese was counselor at the national nation-al music camp at Interlocken, Mich., and the following summer attended the summer session at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, Ro-chester, N. Y. She taught music for two years at the Franklin school in Cape Girardeau. Dr. Reese is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Reese, Jr., of Whitney, Idaho lie holds his B. S. and M. S. degrees from the University of Idaho. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa at University of Idaho. Ida-ho. In June he took his degree in medicine at ' the Washington university uni-versity at St. Louis, Mo. He was commissioned a first lieutenant, medical section, United States Army. At the university he was vice president of the senior class and a member of Phi Beta Pi, medical med-ical fraternity. He will intern at the Barnes hospital at St. Louis. |
