The farmer who takes advantage advan-tage of the special program may keep the seven cents per bushel' allowed by the corporation for storage on the farm. If he did not receive the storage allowance made in 1941 to aid farmers in building new storage or renovating renovat-ing old bins it will be deducted from the redemption price of the grain. , When the grain is redeemed under un-der the new program, the producer must certify, that he will feed It to livestock or sell it for livestock feed. Loans redeemed for any other purpose may be handled under un-der the standard loan redemption procedure. The purpose of the program for redeeming loan wheat for feed is two-fold, the committeeman pointed point-ed out. It increases the feedstuff available for producing livestock products vital to the war program and it releases storage space badly needed to care for the 1942 crop soon to be harvested. |
