B Wood presided and opening organ music was played b by Frank Van Cott A quartet composed of William Macfarlane Ray Cosslett Mrs F F. B B. Wood and Miss Alice Williams accompanied by M. M Van Cott sang Oh My Father and the Invocation Invocation cation was by William m Macfar Macfarlane ne following which the quartet sang a second number Sometime Well We'll Understand Dr M. M J J. J Macfarlane was the first speaker followed by H. H H. H Lunt Roy Halversen played a violin solo i Joslyn's Berceuse accompanied by Mr Van Cott Cotto S. S F. S faith After living in Salt Lake City for tor nearly a year the family came to Cedar City where Mr had since resided He ne engaged In mining activities for tor many years later entering farming Tanning and the livestock business He was an elder cIder In the L. L D D. S S. S church and for lor 14 years a member of or the Pioneer day and Old Folks' Folks committee of the Cedar City Wards On August 5 1902 he married Elizabeth Ellen Macfarlane of Cedar Cedar Cedar Ce Ce- dar City at Parowan They were parents of 12 children all of whom are still living and were present at the funeral services Surviving are his widow and the following sons and daughters D.C.
