Show Tire Rationing Board Appointed To complete the tire rationing set-up in Franklin co;ui:y mree men, Melvin Porter of Franklin, Roy Greaves and Earl Goaslind of Preston, have been appointed to comprise the local rationing board, Dennis Lowe, Civilian Defense cha,rman announced this week. These men, Mr Lowe slated, were selected as three who would overlook over-look any, personal interest in the effort to deal with the just needs of county automobile owners in the light of the national emergency. emer-gency. This appointment automatically auto-matically makes the men members of the County Civilian Defense Council. Tire rationing will begin after January 4 Mr. Lowe said, with the lifting of the national ban on tire sales. Even then new tires will be limited to individuals and agencies agen-cies requiring them for the maintenance main-tenance of industrial efficiency and civilian health.
