Show Wool Growing Rabbit Will Be Introduced The New Industry Committee of the Logan Chamber of Commerce believes that Lcgan and Cache Valley can be made a fur center. With the experience fur growers have had locally it has been demonstrated dem-onstrated that Logan and Cache Valley are exceptional places for the growing of high class pelts. The Black Silver Fox industry is pretty well established. The Chinchilla Chin-chilla is being added to rather rapidly. Reports are that Reginald Regin-ald Chapman, now in charge of the Chapman Chinchilla farms in Englewoodr- California is ".- looking for a location- to expand -the-in-dustry. Special effort is being made to get Mr. Chapman to locate at Logan and help make this one of the main fur centers. A number of local people have subscribed for a fund to start the Angora rabbit industry in Logan. Lo-gan. This rabbit grows wool instead in-stead of - fur. This wool - when clipped sells for $6.00 per pound. The Angoras are imported from France.- If enough Angoras can be established here to get sufficient suffi-cient wool, the next move will be to get a branch of the main spinning factory to locate here.
