Show I WELLSVILLE 0 - ' Wellsville Mr. and : Mrs. D. ' P. Walters entertained at their home on Friday evening at a miscellean-ous miscellean-ous shower in honor of then-daughter then-daughter Myrtle, who left Sunday for Washington D. C, where she will become the bride of Mr. Reid Maughan son of Mrs. W. J. Williams Wil-liams of this city, who is employed there. The marriage is to be preformed pre-formed during the week at the L. D. 8. church there by Prof. Edward Ed-ward P. Kimball. The home and lawns were beautifully decorated. A beautiful treaseau was on display. Musical numbers during the evening even-ing were by the Misses Or lie and Gladvs Bailey, of Logan and by Bill Douglas who is home on a visit from Boston where he has been studying the violin the past year. A delightful time was had by all. Many beautiful presents were received. rec-eived. Luncheon was served to one hundred and twenty five. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Reese Maughan, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Neilsen, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Laur-ence Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Edd Bailey, Bai-ley, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Aller, Mr. and Mrs. Wh. J. Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Chugg, Mrs. Harrison Davis and the mises Gladys, Glad-ys, Orlie and Romona Bailey, Roma Smith, Martha Allen all of Logan Mrs. John Yeates, Charles and Helen Hel-en Yeates of Nibley, Mr. Cole Sor-enson Sor-enson of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Mo-j len Peterson of Hyrum and Bill Douglass of Boston. Mrs. Sadie Davis of Alberta, Canada Can-ada and Mrs. Thursie Jordan and son of Idaho Falls neices of Mrs. fctw Williamson were her euests here on Sunday after attending the Black Hawk Celebration at Nephi. ' Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Parker an-Inounce an-Inounce the marriage of their son Perl and Miss Erma Anderson of Brigham City. The marriage took place in the Logan Temple on I Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Parker en-I en-I tertained at a shower at their home on Tuesday evening in honor of the ! young people. The rooms were ' beautifully decorated with fall flowers. flow-ers. Games, music and a delicious I luncheon were enjoyed by some 70 people. Besides the family of the bride from Brigham, other out of ! town guests were Mr. and Mrs 1 Henry R. Parker, Miss Ureat Ec- cles, and Miss Beatrice Lofthouse l all of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Reese Parker of Providence, Mr. and Mrs. Louis P. Maughan and Weldon Miller Mil-ler of Hyrum, and Mrs. Ida Haycock Hay-cock and daughter Ruth, of Canada. Can-ada. The young couple recieved a lot of beautiful and useful presents and the best wishes for success and happiness. Miss Julia Thorpe assisted by Miss Martha Murray entertained their Sunday School class and partners part-ners at a lawn party at the Thorpe home on Tuesday evening.
