Show Lincoln Students Win High Plaudits "Aunt Drusilla's Garden," a charming charm-ing operetta, and presented by members mem-bers of the Lincoln school at Center-field Center-field Thursday afternoon and evening of last week, proved highly successful and the members of the cast received a splendid ovation from the crowds attending. The operetta is a beautiful pageant of children and child life, against the sombre background of adult sterness, and it portrays the softening influences influ-ences of closer contact with children. The several characters represented did credit and throughout every detail de-tail was enjoyed and appreciated. The production was high class, a patron stated. The floral setting, the costuming and the lighting effects, all combined to make the presentation one of the finest offerings the school has made for the public. The production produc-tion yould have done credit to any school and was, to say the least, an evening of real entertainment. Much credit is due the instructors, who coached the students in the operetta. |
