Show four Days Allowed Killing Pheasants J. Arthur Mecham, Utah state fish and game commissioner, has issued a proclamation fixing dates and regulations regu-lations for pheasant and quail shooting shoot-ing in Utah this fall. Thirteen counties coun-ties in all arc affected. It is important that sportsmen read the official proclamat ion issued by Commisioner Mecham, since, certain portions of several counties remain closed while other portions are op'.'ii. The season on pheasants will open November 2 and continue four dayw with the exception of Salt Lake ;ud Utah counties, which will be oper eight days. The. quail season will be open in five of the "pheasant" counties, and in two additional counties which will not be open to pheasants. The counties which will be open . for pheasant shooting November 2-5, inclusive, are Tooele, Dox Elder, Weber, We-ber, Morgan, Davis, Juab, Sanpete, Emery, Sevier, Millard and Uintah, and Salt Lake and" Uth-' counties will be open from November 2-9 inclusive, in-clusive, 'j, .
