Show DEEP SNOW IN CANYON. Ranger Ed. Cox, who spent Tuesday in Gunnison making a check on poles taken from the Manti forest, reported on the snow conditions in Twelve Mile canyon, a source of much of the water supply for Gunnison valley. While Mr. Cox had not made an official of-ficial measurement, he stated that about three feet of snow had been reported re-ported on the top of the mountain Lower in the foothills, however, he had investigated and found fully two and a half feet. The gullies and ravines, ra-vines, Mr. Cox stated, were pretty well filled. |
