Show State Farm Bureau Sets Meeting Dates According to reports from Salt Lake, the Utah state farm bureau will meet for a three-day session to be held in that city on January 19, 20 and 21. The main topic at the annual an-nual conclave of the bureau will be the recent affiliation of the cooperative coopera-tive marketing associations with that body. Secretary Tracy R. Welling, who is chairman of the committee in charge of arrangements for the meeting said that one entire day will be devoted to the discussions of the functions, aims and purposes of the cooperatives. Arrangements have recently been completed by the farm bureau for the affiliation with all cooperatives and departments will be established in the future to cope with this new service. ser-vice. Articles of incorporation have been amended to embrace the new services and will be presented at the convention. The companies affiliated with the farm bureau include the Utah Poultry Producers' Cooperative association, the Utah Turkey Growers, the Utah Sugar Beet organization and various other state and local cooperatives. Topics relative to the proceedings of the Utah legislature will also be discussed at the three-day session, at which George F. Stallings, president of the farm bureau, will preside. The conclave is to be held in the New-house New-house hotel. |
