The Peterson's were dinner' ! guests with relatives, i LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christenson and the Christenson children spent a joyful Christmas day visiting and feasting with relatives at Manti. 41 Mr. and Mrs. Garrick Roylance were hoiday guests Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Sanderson Sander-son at Manti. I Miss Lois Overfelt, a training student stu-dent at the Holy Cross hospital, Salt Lake, and Miss Helen Overfelt, student stu-dent at the Utah Agricultural college col-lege at Logan were visitors at the Ira Overfelt home last week end. Miss Lois was able to spend a day as a vacation and returned to her duties Sunday. Miss Helen will be here until the first of the New Year. r w Miss Betty Villard, a student at Westminster college at Salt Lake City, is spending her vacation here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Au-gust Villard. Nephi Gledhill, city recorder, left for the north last Thursday. He is spending his holiday vacation with his wife and daughter at Salt Lake. Misses Ovila and Beryl Bown, students stu-dents at Logan, are here as the guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Bown during the Christmas vacation season. E. L. Fjeldsted, the insurance writer, writ-er, was here for the holidays from his home at Hiawatha. He spent Christmas day with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tollestrup of Manti, spent Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Tollestrup. J. E. Lewis, who has been station-. station-. ed at Promontory Point during the past several months, came in from the north Friday and is visiting with hirs family. Mr. and Mrs J. W. Cribble were travelers to Salt Lake Sunday afternoon, after-noon, and they plan to spend the Christmas holiday week with their daughters, Misses Iva, Ella and Noel Gribble. Mr. and Mrs. Ottis Johnson of Tooele, were Christmas day guests at the home of Mrs. Nina Nelson, mother mo-ther of Mrs. Johnson. Lloyd Petty, wrho has been employed employ-ed at the coal camps in Carbon county, is here for a visit with his mother, Mrs. George Petty. Hyrum Johnson of Delta, father of L. H. Johnson, local manager for the Tellitride Power company, spent Christmas here as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Johnson. M:ss Fae and Woodrow Herbert of Salina, are the house guests at the A. J. Thompson home today. Miss Alda Motcalf and Miss Iris Michaelson, students at the B. Y. U. , at Provo, are spending the hoUday I week with their parents in Gunnison. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Thompson and Chris. Thompson, were dinner guests at the Frank Herbert home at Salina Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Duffin were guests at a Christinas dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lewis at Richfield, Tuesday. , Miss Helen Hagan, a student of Wasatch academy, is here with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan for the holiday season. |
