Show ! NEW YEAR'S NOT ALWAYS CELEBRATED ON JANUARY 1 Do you know who started the custom cus-tom of celebrating the New Year on January 1 ? For it was not always celebrated cel-ebrated on that day and, more than that, the reason for celebrating it was not always the same as it is now.
