Show Euphemia Draper Passes Suddenly Mrs. Euphemia Lyman Draper, the 18-year-old wife of Vermile Draper, died at the family home in Centerfield Tuesday afternoon, following an illness ill-ness of some three weeks. Mrs. Draper Dra-per contracted a slight cold, which developed de-veloped into influenza, and she had been confined to her home since last Wednesday. The dread disease settled in the head and back, and during the last hours she suffered severely, notwithstanding not-withstanding the fact that every effort ef-fort was made by watchful physicians and careful nursing to give relief. The husband and parents were at the bedside bed-side when the end came. Mrs. Draper, daughter of Joseph Alvin and Lavina Lyman, was born at Mayfield, February 25, 1915. She attended at-tended the Mayfield schools, graduating gradu-ating with honors, and later sne entered en-tered the high school at Manti, having hav-ing spent three years there. November Novem-ber 30, 1931, she was married to Vermile Ver-mile Draper of Centerfield. During her younger days and after her marriage Mrs. Draper was active in social and church work, and was highly respected respect-ed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband and baby son, eight weeks old, her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lyman, and four sisters and six brothers. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, to-morrow, Friday, afternoon from the Centerfield ward meeting house, and interment will be at the Centerfield cemetery. |
