Show MISS VIRGINIA MADSEN EARLY DECEMBER BRIDE Miss Virginia Madsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Madsen. and grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony An-thony Madsen of Gunnison, was mar-r'od mar-r'od to Charles Rolland at Bancroft, Idaho, Friday of last week, according to advices received here The groom is the son of Mrs. Joe Rolland, and both he and the bride are well and popularly known at their home town. Following the marriage, a splendid recept'on was given at the home of the bride. The dining 'and reception room were beautifully decorated in Christmas colors and potted plants, creating a. beautiful effect. The spac-j spac-j ious d ning table was graced with a 1 25-pound turkey and the centerpiece I was a silver basket of red chrysan- themums. Silver candlesticks held : red candles and were in harmony with other decorations. The bride was groomed in pale georgette, beair'tfully trimmed and she carried a bouquet of bride's roses. The groom wore the conventional black. The guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thorpe, while Miss Delia Ringlishtaker supervised the I din'ng room. Following the marriage ! the guests enjoyed a brief musical j program by Bancroft talent and in addition a radio program was a pleas-J pleas-J ing number. I Mrs. Rolland has many warm friends in Gumrson, where she attended at-tended high school, and all will join in wishing her happiness. |
