Tuft, Mrs. Ann Beauregard and E. L. Swalberg. Alternates named were J. II. Roylnnce, Mrs. Charlotte Villard, O. H. Halverson, Elmer Hol-yeson Hol-yeson and Roy Edwards. Ira Overfelt, vice-president and cashier of the Gunnison Valley bank, will go before the convention seeking the nomination for office of four-year four-year commissioner. He announced his candidacy after his many staunch supporters had urged that he make the run on the democratic ticket. Mr. Overfelt needs no introduction in Sari-pete Sari-pete county. He has been prominent in business and financial circles in this city for 23 years. For 17 years he was with the Denver & Rio Grande railway as agent, and through this medium he has gained a host of friends. Six years ago he acquired a majority of the stock of the Gunnison Gunni-son Valley" bank and was made vice president and cashier. In this capacity he has- shown rare ability as a business busi-ness man. Mr. Overfelt will likely be the only candidate from Gunnison valley seeking office. |
