Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mr. and Mrs. Lee Monson of Pro-vo, Pro-vo, spent Monday as the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Knighton. Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan were motor mo-tor travelers to the capital city Tuesday Tues-day morning. They returned home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Duggins and Lorin Hill, were motor travelers to Salt Lake Tuesday. After looking after some important business matters mat-ters they returned Wednesday, Mrs. Vada Titcomb and an intimate friend, Edward Shambouth, will arrive ar-rive from Grand Junction today. They will spend several days here visiting at the J. S, Peterson home. Member of the Trcas JouK club were the guests of Mrs. A. M. Peterson Peter-son at the Wistaria cafe Wednesday afternoon. Club members deviated from the usual role of sewing and indulged in a lively game of progressive progres-sive bridge. j Mrs. L. G. Anderson was hostess j to sixteen guests at her home Satur-I Satur-I day afternoon when she entertained for the Bridge club. In the game at cards prizes were won by Mrs. J. A. Hagan and Mrs. G. D. Peery. Mrs. J. S. Peterson won the guest prize. Luncheon followed cards and ws-- scrved at five. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Peterson went to Manti Tuesday evening and were combining business with pleasure for a few hours. Mrs. A. B. Nelson and daughter, Hazel, spent Monday of this week visiting vis-iting with relatives and friends at Mayfield and Manti. Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Wall of San-taquin, San-taquin, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo D. Bard-sley Bard-sley Sunday. Paul Park is leaving Saturday for Salt Lake. He will attend the 101st semi-annual conference of the Mormon Mor-mon church which will be held the last of the week. j Mr. and Mrs. Ottis Johnson and i Bobbie Johnson have returned to their I home at Tooele, after spending a few 'days visiting with Mrs. Nina Nelson, I mother to Mrs. Johnson. They were accompanied on their return by Mrs. Bayne Fountain of Manti, a sister to Mrs. Johnson. Mrs. M. M. Duggins and Wesley Duggins, left for Salt Lake Saturday afternoon. After a brief visit they returned re-turned Sunday and were accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Mildred Bawden. Miss Bawden will be the house guest at the Wesley Duggins home indefinitely. |
