Show Big Show Planned ForGunnison'Kids' "All the little boys, and all the little lit-tle girls" of Gunnison need have no fear of enjoying a Christmas treat during the yuletide season. 'Every one of the kids, fourteen years of age and under, are sure in for a dandy time at one special occasion, and they are to enjoy a picture show, get a glimpse of Santa Claus, and the "white-whiskered fellow" is to pass a treat to the little ones. Yesterday a committee from the Gunnison Lions club announced that plans had been completed for the entertainment en-tertainment of the children all of them within the age limit, at a rousing rous-ing time at the Casino theatre Christmas Christ-mas day, at 3:30 p. m. The new management man-agement at the theatre has selected an appropriate picture that will thrill the hearts of those attending. After the show Santa Claus will appear on the scene, and, loaded with bags of candy, he will busy himself with presenting pre-senting each child with his token of sweetness. There will be plenty to go around and no child will go away disappointed, because Santa Claus is thrilled this year, and promises to be generous. While the age limit has been set at 14, this does not bar smaller children. child-ren. The invitation to attend will include in-clude little children if accompanied by mothers. The Lions club members, sponsoring sponsor-ing the holiday event, are desirous of having the big theatre crowded, and urgently ask that the little ones avail themselves of the opportunity and attend the "big doings" There will be no charge whatever for the treat or picture show. |
