Show Truck, Auto Crash On State Highway Crashing of an auto truck and a passenger car on the state highway in front of the home of C. E. Embley j at 1 o'clock Wednesday morning, re-1 re-1 suiting in minor injuries to three men ' and two badly damaged cars. Moyle Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Anderson, and driver of the ' Crevrolet truck, had both hands badly cut from flying glass. Royden Pickett, a passenger with Anderson, suffered a dangerous cut on his throat and another on the left forehead, while Leonard Larsen of Sterling, driver of the Durant passenger car, had a tooth knocked out, a cut on his lip and received bad body bruises. All men were given first-aid treatment, and it is believed that none were seriously ser-iously injured. It was reported yesterday that Anderson An-derson and Pickett were returning ! from Centerfield, where they had gone to take a friend home after the dance. As they were traveling north I they met Larsen, who was going : south. Just at the turn on the road i going east, and just south of the Embley home, Larsen evidently lost control of his car, or was attempting attempt-ing to turn east ahead of the Anderson An-derson truck. The two machines, however, how-ever, h:t head-03, and both were badly bad-ly damaged. |
