Show PORCUPINE CITY. Thirty Claims are Located and Four Being Worked. Porcupine City is the name of a new mining camp, located about twelve miles south-east of Brigham. It is two miles from Buster City, in Public Grove. Mr. Hess came down from there, yesterday, with a flattering report of the prosperity of the new town. Rich samples of galena, silver and copper ore were shown a Bi'gleu reporter. The gentleman says at least thirty good claims have been located and four are being vigorously worked. A 1 blacksmith's shop has been opened. The deep snow in the hills prevents any extended prospecting. |
