Andrew Modeen, who has been I in ill health for some time as a result ; of complications, was taken to the i Salina hospital Monday evening, and Tuesday' she underwent a successful operation. The many friends of Mrs. Modeen will be glad to know that she stood the ordeal in fine shape and, if no complications arise, she will be ble to return to her home here within a week or ten days. Mr. Modeen was with his wife during the operation.
