Show " "I Pierce Reunion In Session Here One hundred or more visitors from Utah and outside states are here this week attending the second annual reunion of the Isaack Washington Pierce Genealogical association, perfected per-fected last year. Many of the guests are being entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Slyvester Pierce and friends. Several states are represented repre-sented by members of the organization, organiza-tion, among them being Mexico, New Mexico, Texas, Idaho, Montana and Arizona. Through the local commit-' tee and members from other parts of the state, splendid entertainment is being provided and sight-seeing trips and outings are being enjoyed. Tuesday morning a meeting of the members of the organization was held at the R. S. hall at which time a splendid program was given. Following Fol-lowing this meeting the party went to Crystal Springs where luncheon and a social time was enjoyed. Wed-( Wed-( nesday morning another session was ; held at the Relief society hall and j during the afternoon Palisade park ! was visited. Today, the concluding day of the reunion, many will go to Manti to visit the temple. The officers of the association are Ivie Pierce, Shelley, Idaho, president; Amasa Pierce, Roosevelt, Utah' first vice-president; Murray Pierce, Wellington, Wel-lington, Utah, second vice-president; Mrs. Phoebe Lemmon, Tucson, Ariz., secretary, and Miles Pierce, Montana, treasurer. |
