Show I CENTERFIELD ! I NEWS ITEMS I -! - Christmas was joyfully spent in Centerfield and with the programs given by the Sunday school it proved a memorable- event. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Embley are here from Canada after an absence of four years. They will remain until the end of the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Emblev and Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Embley spent Christmas j dnv at the home of J. L. Willardson at Ephraim. A farewell party was given at the meeting house last evening, compli-mentarv compli-mentarv to Miss Levora Beck, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Beck. Miss Beck will leave shortly to fill a mission mis-sion for the L. D. S. church in the southern states. A big crowd was out to meet Miss Beck and a splendid program was given. A substantial purse was presented to the missionary. Mrs. C. H. Embley entertained at a reunion dinner party last Saturday, immediate members 0f the family beinir the guests. Covers were laid for twenty-six. the outside guests beirnr Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Willardson and family of Ephraim. Mrs. On Nielson and child, are spending the holidays here as the guest of M-. and Mrs. Peter Jensen Mrs. Nielsen's home is at Los Angeles. Mrs. Edna Marx delightfully entertained enter-tained at a dinner party Tuesday of this week. Covers were laid for twelve. Miss Elma Anderson has pone to Salt Lakp where she will rem.-jn for some time. Mr. and M s. Harold Parker of 'Ensign. 'En-sign. Alberta, Canada, were visitors at the home of C. C.
