Show Opinion of St. Andrews on Larger Golf Balls The opinion of St. Andrews on the American suggestion to make the golf balls larger and lighter will not receive re-ceive hearty approval from certain golfing leaders In this country. They will be the men who want the golf ball made larger and lighter. The sages of St. Andrews, do not want to make the golf ball either larger or lighter. St. Andrew's says the change is so light that it is not worth making mak-ing and St. Andrew's seems correct In Its view. Also, why this constant con-stant harping about golf balls? The popularity of golf seems to be the nest available answer to this question ques-tion of size and weight of ball, says fne Detroit News. The present style Is apparently satisfactory and since It Is, why insist upon a change? The late Mark Ilanna was a rhrewd and wise politician and one r the smartest things the late Mark Uanna ever said was, "Always let v'U enough alone." The sages of r. Andrew's apparently have the same golden rule that the late Mark ITanna carried. |
