Show "'h Military Honors Paid Farragul's Cabin Boy Full ' military honors were paid j James Ivers, seventy-two, who was Admiral Barragut's cabin boy during the Civil war, by Treadway Cava-naugh Cava-naugh post of the American Legion when he was buried at East Hampton, Hamp-ton, Conn., recently. Ivers was aboard ' ihe old flagship Hartford with Admiral Ad-miral Farragut during the battle of Mobile bay. Later he left the navy and enlisted in the federal army, seeing see-ing more than a year of active service ashore. |
