Show HENRY HAMMOND BENEFIT PROVES A HUGE SUCCESS Citizens of Gunnison gave a splendid splen-did response two weeks ago when a benefit show was given at the Casino for Henry Hammond, the 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hammond, Ham-mond, and who suffered frightful "burns last March. A total of $01.05, was obtained from the show, and since that time private contributions amounting to $27, has brought the total to $88.05. A subscription list j is being circulated in Fayette, the home of' the Hammonds, and it is expected ex-pected the grand total will be near $100.00. Little Henry is now at the Holy I Cross hospital at Salt Lake and is under the care of Dr. Hosmer. Skin grafting is being experimented with and tests for the proper blood conditions condi-tions are being made, according to Mr. Hammond, who recently returned return-ed from the city. Due to the seriousness seri-ousness of the burn, which extends from the hip to the ankle, it will require re-quire many weeks to cover the burn-jed burn-jed portion. |
