Meeting Things are shaping themselves in splendid way for the Utah Education Educa-tion association convention scheduled to be held in Salt Lake City on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd o this moi.Ji . Dean Milton Bennion, president of the association, says that lending educators from both east and weHt will address the meetings. Dr. Edward 0. Sisson of Reed College, Portland, Oregon, will discuss dis-cuss problems relating to character education and what the schools might do in furthering good citizenship. Dr. Sisson, for a number of years, has been one of the leading characters charac-ters of the National Education association asso-ciation and has actively functioned on several of its most important committees. com-mittees. He is a recognized author- ity on the problems he will discuss at the Utah convention and has cn-I cn-I riched the teaching of professional i literature of our country by a num-! num-! ber of exceptional books along his ; chosen lines . Dr. Daisy A. Hethenngton, nt present with the New York university, univer-sity, was formerly connected with the University of California. At the western institution she came into national prominence through her remarkable re-markable work in developing a scheme of educating little children through play activities.
