Show MADSEN-.JONES WEDDING Owen Madsen, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Madsen of this city, and Miss Vera Jones, daughter of Mr .and Mrs. J. R. Jones of Centerfield, Cen-terfield, were married at high noon at. Manti last Wednesday. Bishop Peterson of the Manti ward, officiating officiat-ing at the ceremony and following the congratulations extended by those present the bride and groom returned to Gunnison, going to the home of the groom's parents. The ceremony was performed in the presence pres-ence of Messrs. Madsen and Jones, fathers of the contracting parties and a few intimate relatives. Wednesday Wednes-day evening a splendid wedding sup- I per and reception was tendered the newlyweds at the Madsen home in this city. Invitations were extended to some thirty friends. At six o'clock the banquet was served and following follow-ing this feature a royal time was enjoyed en-joyed by all. Both Mr. Madsen and his wife are well known throughout the valley and they are receiving the best wishes for a happy sail over the matrimonial sea. They will make i their home at Centerfield where Mr. 1 Madsen will engage in farming. |
