Show Knighton Resigns Bank Presidency J. M. Knighton, who was selected as. president of the Gunnison City National bank at the organization, tendered his resignation as president and a member of the board of directors direc-tors at the annual meeting of the bank directors held at the bank last Tuesday. Mr. Knighton, in resigning, resign-ing, stated that other duties required his time and for this reason he could not give the bank the attention it should have. William Metcalf was chosen as president, filling the office made vacant by the resignation of Mr. Knighton. William Down, Jr.. who lias served as a member of the board of directors direc-tors for the past year, also tendered his resignation. June Metcalf was elected to fill the place made vacant by Mr. Bown's resignation. As a result of the election the new officers of the Gunnison City are as follows: President, William Metcalf; vice-president. James Bown; cashier. C, C. Edmonds; assistant cashier. Roy Hill. The now directorate is as follows: James Bown. S. M. Dug-gins, Dug-gins, Wru. Metcalf. M. Beauregard. June Metcalf, H. C. Olson. Joe Wil-lardson Wil-lardson and J. N. Christiansen. The annual report of the secretary showed that the bank had passed the deficit stage and the condition of the bank was in splendid shape. The stock was well represented, slightly more than half being represented at the meeting. |
