Show SCOUT ORDER TO BE REVIVED An organization of the Boy Scouts of America was started in Gunnison ;ome two years ago and during its ime it proved a great benefit and ?ducalor to the boys of this city. The organization was in a flourishing, condition with a membership ot fifteen fif-teen at the time the influenza plague! oroke out and on account of the pre-1 alence ot the disease in Gunni:;oii ictivities were dropped and have been inactive since until just recent-y recent-y when new life has been instilled. The members of the former organiza-ion organiza-ion had reached the tenderfoot de srec of the fundamentals of scouting md with that knowledge with them, it is now believed that the organiza-ion organiza-ion will be put on a high standard and in due time the local order wii) occupy a prominent position. The Gunnison boys disbanded, no! hrough choice, but on account of the Ireadl'ul disease that was sweeping 'he country. With the desire of the .'ortnur members and the eagerness of other boys to become alliliated with he great order, every encouragement ,hould be made by the citizens and oarents to give the young American?! oil the support possible, both from i moral and financial standpoint. The benefits accruing from Ibe order are too well known to arouse any quos-1 quos-1 ion as to the moral, physical, intellectual intel-lectual and manly good that will follow fol-low and with the onward sti p that the organization is striving Gunnison os a whole should get back of th1 hoys and help in every wav possible.
