Show Axtell News Never before have the farmers been so pleased with grain crops under the Highland canal. The threshing season has begun and new residents of Axtell Ax-tell report they have never seen better bet-ter grain. The excellent beet crop here, along with the grain, will make Axtell a wealthy and industrious farming community. Come to Axtell for good crops of any kind we have them. Mrs. Ole Larson was entertained Tuesday afternoon by the members of the Relief society. Many friends were present and a delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served the guests. The Larsons Lar-sons have been residents of Axtell for many years, and shortly they will leave for Gunnison to take up their permanent residence. Mrs. Charles Bjorregaard entertained enter-tained a number of friends Sunday . iifternoon, the occasion being her anniversary. Many friends were present pres-ent and a dainty lunch was served the guests. Mrs. BJerregaard was assisted In serving by her daughter, Miss Lillis BJerregaard. |
