Show Clarion News. Mrs. Royal Buchannon of Gunnison Gunni-son was a Clarion visitor Sunday. Leonard Sorensen and family of Axtell were the guests of A. H. Lund Sunday. Mrs. Jacobson of Provo is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Jim Hansen. Will Sawyers and family of Joseph Jo-seph arrived here last week. They intend making Clarion their future home. Rufus Frandsen and family were Clarion visitors Sunday. Orrin Palmer has decided to place another five acres of sugar beets, since the arrival of their new nine-pound nine-pound baby boy last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pace and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pace were Mt. Pleasant visitors Sunday. Charles Robinson and son, Joyce, of Filmore are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Palmer. George Bond and Laf. Frandsen attended the Piute Irrigation meeting meet-ing at Richfield Saturday, and one at Salina Monday. PRINCETON GRADUATE COMING. Miss Josie Curtis, missionary in charge of the Presbyterian chapel in Gunnison, has received advices that shortly regular services will be held in this city and that the polpit will be filled by Rev. Russell Woltz. The exact date for the opening services have not as yet been announced and will not be until Rev. Woltz arrives from the east the latter part of this month. Rev. Woltz will graduate from the theological department of clie Princeton university this month, and he will immediately come west, making his home at Manti. It is planned to divide the time in holding hold-ing church services between Manti, Gunnison and Salina. |
