Show MAYFIELD NEWS ITEMS. V (Special Correspondence.) (Rceived too late for last week's issue) Misses Tessie. Jensen . and Vesta Clayton entertained a number of their friends at a midnight supper last Sun-day Sun-day night at the home of Miss Jensen. Games and merry-making, accompanied accompan-ied by a delicious supper were enjoyed by all. The honored guests were Miss Bedelia Faatz, Anjie Lyman of May-field, May-field, Thenelda and Elverda Jensen, Dee McKenny, Earl McKenny, Lloyd Gates, Laval Dastrup and Bill Gates of Salina. Richard Christiansen returned to his home here the first of last week after a trip of several months duration in Wyoming and Colorado. Miss Laura Larson left last Friday for Nevada where she intends to remain re-main during the winter at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Swallow. Mr. and Mrs. William Sorenson and children, accompanied by Miss Elma Christiansen, spent Sunday in Axtell visiting with friends and relatives. Miss Tessies Jensen and Mrs. Lester Les-ter Hansen entertained the Theological Theologi-cal Sunday school class at a peanut bust. A splendid time was enjoyed by thirty-three guests. Mr. and Mrs. P.
