Show He will be absent several days and will assist the Utah Poultry Fro"-ducers, Fro"-ducers, Inc., in establishing the stations sta-tions at Provo, Ogden and Salt Lake. Mr. Willardson is vice-president of the state organization. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Gribble were host and hostess to a few friends at a well appointed turkey dinner party last Saturday evening. At seven o'clock dinner was served and the banquet table fairly groaned with delicious turkey and the "fixin's." Following dinner Five Hundred was played until a late hour and Mrs. J. W. Jones and Niel Sorcnson captured cap-tured the prizes offered. Covers were laid for Mayor and Mrs. .T. W. Jones, Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan, Mr. and Mrs. Niel Sorcnson and the host and hostess. C. Norman spent last Sunday with Mrs. Norman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. II. T. Wright, at Salina. Mr. and Mrs. John Becmus announce an-nounce the engagement of their daughter Viola to Bert Murphy of Salina. Miss Lulu Halvcrson was a traveler to Salt Lake last Sunday. She will be absent for some time visiting with friends and relatives. Andrew Peterson has gone to Salt I.ake City where he will remain indefinitely. in-definitely. Mr. Peterson will accept a position as a machinist. Miss Belva Eriokson has gone to Salt Lake where she will act as stenographer for the Utah Poultry Producers, Inc. The Ladies Missionary society of the Presbyterian church held its regular meeting at the chapel Tuesday afternoon, after-noon, at which time the continued: lesson, "Building With India" was read. The Light Bearers Band also gave a reading. Following the study period light refreshments were served serv-ed by Mrs. R. C. Nortman and Mrs. R. J. Parr. Mrs. L. B. Winchell and children left for Salt Lake the early days of this week. Later Mr. Winchel will join them and they expect to make their home their. Lee Pace and Charles Nielson left for Provo and Dividend yesterday. They will be absent for some time combining business with pleasure. Tcrcy Nelson has returned from the northern part of the county where he spent last Saturday and Sunday visiting with Mrs. Dan Nielson Niel-son at Moroni. Ernest Westover, who has been absent some six weeks visiting and looking after business matters at Delta, Ogden and Salt Lake, returned home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams of Clarion, are receiving the congratulations congratu-lations of their many friends over the arrival of a baby girl at their home. Little Miss Williams was born last Saturday and both she and her mother are doing nicely. Bert Willardson, general manager for the Central Utah Poultry Exchange Ex-change left for Salt Lake Sunday. |
