Show AUTOS COLLIDE Shortly after 11 o'clock Tuesday-night Tuesday-night the Ford car owned and driven by A. M. Peterson and the Chevrolet owned by Ruel Nielson collided at the corner of Center and State streets, and that, the occupants were not seriously se-riously hurt is a miracle. The Nielsen Niel-sen car was returning from Manti nnd was without lights, according to statements. Peterson, driving the Ford, was homeward 'bound, and when rounding the corner his head-'ights head-'ights flashed tho presence of the other car. Mr. Peterson swerved his r,:r to Ihe right and almost into the ditch, but not fast or far enough to escape the clash with the Chevrolet. The re;:r -wheels of the Ford were riddled and other damage done. The Xlelson car escaped much damage. There is an ordinance regarding the rights at the corner and it should he respected. Otherwise there will be a disastrous, mishap some day. |
