Show Fayette. Dac. 9 Funeral tonic place from the meetinghouse Monday. December (ith for Mrs Elizabeth Ileely Robinson, Robin-son, who died on the 3rd inst. of old age and general debility. She was in her 81st year and deatli was not unexpected un-expected on account of her invalid condition for many years, the last two. years under the constant care of of others. She was the mother of 11 children, 9 of whom survive namely John Robinson, II. W. Robinson, Edward Ed-ward I. Robinson, Wm. W. Robinson, Mrs. C. H. Pickett and Mrs. Joseph Mellor all of this place; Benjamin Robinson and Mrs. Walter Reding-ton, Reding-ton, both of Oxford, Idaho; and Joseph Jo-seph II. Robinson, of San Francsso. Bp. A. M. Mellor presided at the funeral and was one of the speakers, besides Erick Olson and Amasa F. Bartholomew. The remains were laid beside those of the husband, in the Dover cemetery. The pall-bearers were Levi Bown, Clarence Bown, James Gee, J. W, Duffin, Merriel Mellor and Lorin Hill. Born in Irasburg, Vermont, Sept. 12, 1835 she was baptized when eight years and came to Utah with her pa- in 1S54, locating at Springville where a year later she married Wm. Robinson. Rob-inson. The family came to Fayette in 1887. Her husband died 1898. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Eobinson of. Fillmore were here visiting Monday. Philip A. Dack of Mauti was a business bus-iness visitor here Monday. Joseph Mellor leaves tomorrow on business to Salt Lake. A good working committee has been selected by the Sunday school to arrange for a Christmas celebration. |
